Heartbeat Classic Chevys was founded in February of 1997 by a group of North County, San Diego. We support all Chevrolet products manufactured from 1955 through 1957. This club is affiliated with Classic Chevy International, a division of Eckler Industries. We are also members of the San Diego Car Club Council. |
|
Heartbeat Classic Chevy members participate in many planned cruises, drive-in nights, car shows, annual Halloween, Holiday and Appreciation parties as well as a host of other auto related social events with our Classic Chevys. We have planned fun runs and special trips as well as our own annual Heartbeat Happening Car Show at Bates Nut Farm in Valley Center, CA.
We currently support a local community charity (Interfaith Communty Services) by sponsoring our annual car show and by donating canned goods at the end of the year. Our members take pride in supporting our club charities by donating their time, energy and resources.

We had a good turn-out at the RB car show on July 4, 2011-w/ 4 trophy winnners: Mark Pilch ('57 Chevy Belair-black w/ flames),Bob Powell ('63 Corvette Coup-red w/ gorgeous painting on inside of hood),Barry Penn ('50 Ford Woody-gorgeous everything, including the picnic, food & artificial ants),& Nancy Ciccia ('60 Chevy Belair- another WOW car!!) About 9 classics from our club made it there early in the am.(about 8am)It was a gorgeous day for everyone...then we went on to Fosdicks' for a BBQ, & the neighbors enjoyed the cars parked on the cul-de-sac.

There were winners at the MCRD Car Show,(July 30) & at the Carlsbad Show on July 16th (Barry Penn both times.once with his '50 Ford Woodie MCRD,& w/ his '54 Chevy Convert at Carlsbad. )

Heartbeat Business Meeting
Our business meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday (except the month of December) of every month at 7:00 PM.
Location: Mike's BBQ -- 1356 W. Valley Parkway-- Escondido, Cal. (7PM) Third Thursday of each month except December.
