Profile	I was born and raised in Redlands, California, and have been interested in cars as far back as I can remember. My parents had to get tired of me pointing out each car, its make, etc on those long trips to Grandma in Santa Ana. My first vehicle was an English cross county dirt bike and then onto my first car a 1962 Olds Cutlass and then my 1968 Camaro SS396. I moved to Encinitas in 1971 and went to Palomar Community College and San Diego State University. I met Debbie at Palomar my freshman year and we were married the following year and talk about not having a pot, but we have been happy and raised two great kids. I bought my first 1957 in 1991 a 210 two door sedan. Someone hit me in Vista in 1996 and I ended up at Hot Rods & Custom Stuff and met Tom Geiman who did a lot of the work on that car and he talked me into coming to a club meeting. It took me a while but when I had completed the requirements for membership it just happened to be the same time this great club began so now I am one of the charter members of Heartbeat Classic Chevys, amazing how things happen. Someone asked me once what I remember about elementary school and without missing a beat I said my fourth grade teacher was a gorgeous blond who helped my with my arithmetic and she drove a 1957 T-Bird with porthole windows. Pretty well sums me up. I bought my 1957 Nomad from Tom & Nancy's brother in law in Pennsylvania and had it trucked out to California which is where the car was built up in Van Nuys.
